چکیده
We report enhanced electrochemical detection of single water-in-oil emulsion droplets using the nano-impact method. To detect droplets, water molecules in were directly oxidized (i.e., splitting) without additional electroactive species when collided with ultramicroelectrode. The droplet cannot be electrolyzed an organic solvent because emulsifier does not require a hydrophobic electrolyte. enhance signal intensity, electrochemistry sub-microscale was investigated considering charge neutrality and limiting reagent. Therefore, effective electrolysis achieved. Approximately 10% (55.6 M H2O) based on calculations from peak analysis DLS measurements.

Development of surfactant coacervation in aqueous solution.
Coacervation is a phenomenon in which a colloidal dispersion separates into two immiscible liquid phases: a liquid rich in colloidal phase in equilibrium with another diluted liquid phase. Surfactant coacervation here refers to coacervation whose main components are surfactants with low molecular weights. Over the past two decades, surfactants have been greatly developed and studies on coacerva...
متن کاملExperimental evidence for internal structure in aqueous-organic nanodroplets.
The spatial distribution of species within an aerosol droplet influences how it interacts with its environment. Despite the ubiquity of multicomponent nanodroplets in natural and technological aerosols, there are no published measurements of their internal structure. Here, we report the first experimental results for structure in aqueous organic nanodroplets based on small angle neutron scatter...
متن کاملA structural phase diagram for model aqueous organic nanodroplets.
Our density functional theory calculations predict that model aqueous organic nanodroplets have either well mixed or core-shell structures, depending on the state of the metastable binary vapor and that, furthermore, there is a broad transition region in the phase diagram where both structures can occur at the same vapor state.
متن کاملElectrochemical detection of phenol in aqueous solutions
Phenol oxidation in aqueous solutions was carried out in a pH range of 7-12 using cyclic votlammetry (CV) and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) studies on a glassy carbon electrode. Peak potentials are found to be distinct for each pH value. A linear relationship is observed between the peak current and the concentration ranging from microto millimolar levels. The peak current is found to be...
متن کاملRemoval of natural organic matter (NOM) from an aqueous solution by NaCl and surfactant-modified clinoptilolite.
Zeolitic tuffs are found in different parts of the world. Iranian zeolite is a low-cost material that can be frequently found in nature. Surfactant-modified zeolite (SMZ) can be used for the adsorption of natural organic matter (NOM) from aqueous solutions. The adsorption study was conducted to evaluate the adsorption capacity of SMZ; furthermore, the effects of contact time, initial pH, and th...
